Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When the Prophet (ﷺ) arrived in Madinah, the people had two days in which they would play. He asked, "What are these two days?" They said, "We used to play in them during the pre-Islamic period." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Indeed, Allah has replaced them for you with something better: the Day of Sacrifice and the Day of Fitr."
