Yahya ibn Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man died during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and someone said: "How fortunate he is, he died without being afflicted by illness." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Woe to you! How do you know? If Allah had afflicted him with an illness, it might have expiated his sins"
