Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Count the crescent moon of Sha’ban for Ramadan."

وآلہ وسلم ارشاد فرمائے ہیں کہ رمضان (کے چاند کی صحت) کی خاطر شعبان کے چاند (کو دیکھ کر
شعبان کے دنوں) کا شمار کرو (تا کہ یہ تحقیق ہو جائے کہ شعبان کا مہینہ 29 دن کا ہے یا تیس دن
کا)۔ اس حدیث کی روایت ترمذی نے کی ہے۔
