Chapter on Mosques and Places of Prayer

Zujajat al-Masabih 982Volume 1

English

It is narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman ibn 'A'ish (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I saw my Lord, the Almighty, in the most beautiful form. He said: 'What are the highest assembly disputing about?' I said: 'You know best.' He placed His hand between my shoulders, and I felt its coolness between my chest. Then I knew everything in the heavens and the earth." He then recited: "And thus did We show Ibrahim the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, so that he would be among those who are certain." (Qur'an, Al-An'am 6:75).
