It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Prophet ﷺ performing ablution three times each and wiping his head and his ears in a single action.

٤٢٥ - وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ (رضي الله عنهما): أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا، وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ.
